Decker was accepted into the Copley Society of Art in Boston in 1994, Decker is in the honored company of "Copley Masters" such as John Singer Sargent, Whistler and Monet.
In 1905, the Society exhibited paintings by Claude Monet in conjunction with with a group of sculptures by Auguste Rodin..
1913
The Copley Society hosted European selections from the "International Exhibition of Modern Art," later to be named the "New York Armory Show," including works by Marcel Duchamp, Raoul Dufy, Wassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso, and Vincent Van Gogh.
1921 The Copley Society sponsored "Watercolors by Winslow Homer, Dodge MacKnight and John Singer Sargent," held at the Boston Art Club.
1994Susan briefly studied under Copley Master Artist, "Robert Scott Jackson" that showed Decker the final touch for her "Morning Ride" that secured the juried show and excepted as a Copley Artist.
